I have heard abreva is good, but its like 15 dollars for a small tube Its a waste. What other kinds of stuff have you heard of that works, and is inexpensive, but that gets the job done?

I use a pill form (actually if you can feel it coming on, the sooner you medicate with the pill there will be a chance you won't get to the breakout point at all)
I get Acyclovir a generic form of Zoverax (sp?) I get 30 400mg pills for about 24 bucks at walmart. The prescription lasts me months as I pre-medicate when I get stressed out or feel rundown to the point where I know I may get one.
You don't have to take it everyday...just when you think you may breakout.
