My nephew has cold sores inside his mouth and in his throut, I am looking for a home remedy to help him with pain relief

The poor lad. That's a nasty dose. I use ice, but they have always been outside my mouth. Cold sores are a virus, and garlic is antiviral. He could boil some up with our without other veg, but don't skimp on the garlic. Use plenty. He could drink the cooking water (let it cool - his mouth is sore enough as it is) and eat the veg. Bonjela (used for infants with teething problems) will ease the pain. I hope he feels better soon

- Listerine. That's all I can think of since these are not on the outside of his mouth.
- Blistex its the best thing it will be gone buy 24 hours
