What's the best way to get rid of a cold sore fast?

Ok this hurts....but works and its better than having a big ole ugly cold sore.... tea tree oil(natural antiseptic) or if you don't have any then tcp or some other form of antiseptic lotion/spray, just a little.

  Well, they used to sell Iodine, and my wife put that on her cold sores and in a day or two they would go away. Same with an inside ulcer in the mouth, seems like over night they would be gone...
  
  But, I dont know if you can get any of that anymore...so, you may be out of luck..

  if you can stand the pain, put salt on it.....it dries it out, but it hurts!!!

  there is a bomb topical cold sore ointment out there called camphophenic...it dries them out, and heals them in a few days!
